White Oak Real Estate Advisors' John Hampton shows us a family heirloom: a '31 Ford Model A. It's been in his family since the 1940s "and still runs like a charm," John tells us. The Ford has a three-speed transmission and tops out around 35 mph. “Also, this Model A has the rumble seat in the back, which is a very desirable feature on these cars,” he says. John tells us White Oak recently raised the debt and JV equity for Paces Properties in its purchase and redevelopment of Krog Street Market in Inman Park.
