WeWork's expansion in Midtown appears to continue unabated.

The coworking giant has filed permits with the city of Atlanta for interior alterations at 881 Peachtree, a 28-story, mixed-use project underway from a joint venture between developers Hanover Co. and Atlanta-based The Loudermilk Cos.

Loudermilk Cos. founder Robin Loudermilk confirmed the deal with WeWork to Bisnow.

According to permits, WeWork is leasing more than 35K SF on floors two through four of the office part of the project. WeWork will be leasing the vast majority of the planned 44K SF of office space in the building.

881 Peachtree, set to deliver later this year, also includes 350 apartment units and 11K SF of retail.

This is the latest deal for WeWork in Midtown. Earlier this year, the coworking firm leased a full 40K SF building at 1389 Peachtree, a renovation project called the Boundary being developed by Parkside Partners. WeWork is among the largest coworking operators in Atlanta with more than 500K SF.
