WeWork Lands Second Buckhead Location At Terminus

Wework Inked A New Lease At Terminus 100 In Buckhead

WeWork is continuing its Atlanta expansion, this time in the heart of Buckhead.

The co-working operation has inked a 42K SF lease at Terminus 100, the 27-story, 656K SF tower at Piedmont and Peachtree roads. The deal will allow WeWork to accommodate more than 800 members at the location.

Terminus, owned by Cousins Properties Inc., will be WeWork's fourth Atlanta location and its second in Buckhead, where it also operates a location at Tower Place. WeWork also has locations at Colony Square and 1372 Peachtree St.

This is the latest in a string of co-working operators' expansions in Atlanta, and comes on the heels of New York-based Serendipity Labs' Atlanta debut at Three Alliance Center in Buckhead. Industrious, another big co-working operator, also recently made its first foray into the suburban office market with a location at 7000 Central Park in Sandy Springs.

According to Colliers International, co-working operators account for some 1.2M SF of Atlanta office space, including Regus' Spaces co-working concept and local players like Atlanta Tech Village, Switchyards in Downtown Atlanta and Tech Square Labs.
