One of Atlanta's largest law firms is expected to anchor Selig Enterprises' 3.5-acre mixed-use behemoth in Midtown.

Smith, Gambrell & Russell is expected to lease 100K SF at the $470M 1105 West Peachtree project, anchoring the developer's 553K SF office tower, sources familiar with the deal tell Bisnow.

The deal will likely give Selig the ability to secure a construction loan and break ground on the city-block-spanning project, which will also include a 178-room Epicurean Midtown Atlanta hotel, a Marriott Autograph Collection brand that will be the first of its kind in Atlanta. The firm is the 12th-largest in Atlanta, with more than 100 attorneys with practice areas in aviation, real estate and intellectual property, according to the Atlanta Business Chronicle.
