Inside Look at MidCity's Sandy Springs Project Renovations
We got exclusive first look into MidCity Plaza, the Class-A 63k SF boutique office building renovation that's underway in Central Perimeter right now. MidCity Real Estate Partners' Kirk Demetrops bought 5620 Glenridge Dr , the former Crawford & Co HQ back in the day, for a little more than $3M from a lender in 2013. Since then he's put the facility through a $7M renovation, including turning the first floor into a parking deck. Renovations should be complete by April 1, Kirk tells us. DTZ’s Glenn Kolker and Preston Menning have been tapped to lease the project. See what else is in store for the office building here.
1. Vision of MidCity Plaza When Complete
This is the newly renovated plaza with covered and gated parking for 50 vehicles. The entire project offers 5.4/1,000SF parking ratio.
2. Lobby Gets a Total Makeover
MidCity is expanding and “modernizing” the lobby, officials say. That includes bathrooms, too.
3. Enter Through the Glassway
A two-story all-glass entrance will greet tenants, and the building will offer floor-to-ceiling windows.
4. New Stairs, New Air.
The renovation also includes a new HVAC system, windows and plaza stairs. Renovations should be complete by April 1. DTZ’s Glenn Kolker and Preston Menning have been tapped to lease the project.
