Atlanta-based Third & Urban has revealed its vision for the former Western Electric Building along the BeltLine.

Called Common Ground, Third & Urban plans to redevelop the property at 550 Somerset Terrace that will include a New Realm Brewing Co. brewery along with two restaurant concepts by The Diligence Co.

Diligence plans to open a European and Latin-inspired brasserie called Bazati Hall and a 3K SF rooftop champagne and cocktail bar called Estrella. New Realm — founded by former Stone Brewing brewmaster Mitch Steele and partners — will operate a 20K SF brewhouse with a 3K SF rooftop patio and restaurant.

The $25M, 75K SF project directly across the Atlanta BeltLine from Ponce City Market is expected to be renovated and open by this fall.

“Many buildings have historically had their back turned to the BeltLine. The trail is now one of Atlanta’s greatest physical assets, and this project is intended to face and embrace the BeltLine,” Third & Urban partner Pierce Lancaster said.
