Five million square feet and counting. That's the latest count of Atlanta industrial leasing so far this year from Colliers International. The firm provided us with a list of the 10 largest industrial leases as of Q3, and it involves more than 5M SF of deals, signs that the long-suffering Atlanta industrial market has really, truly turned a corner. Here are the deals:
  • TJ Maxx 1.1M SF build-to-suit in Jackson County
  • McMaster Carr's 700k SF build-to-suit at Riverside @ Sweetwater
  • Smucker's 557k SF renewal at Southcreek Distribution Center
  • Louis Dreyfus  515,400 SF renewal at 1791 Mt. Zion Road
  • Hill Phoenix's 500k SF build-to-suit project at 2016 Gees Mill Road
  • GE Energy  465k SF renewal and expansion at Majestic Airport Center II, Building 2
  • American Building Supply's  430k SF renewal at Majestic Airport Center II, Building 6
  • Echosphere's  417k SF renewal at Suwanee Creek
  • Menlo Logistics' nearly 400k SF deal at Westfork Business Park
  • Hitachi's 290k SF expansion at 1000 Unisia Drive off I-20 East.
