Vulcan Materials Co inked a 21,200 SF deal at Perimeter Place, a mid-rise office building in Central Perimeter, relocating from One Glenlake. Cassidy Turley's Stuart Alston and Dale Lewis (here, who now love Star Trek jokes) brokered for the tenant, while Jackson Corporate Real Estate's Chip Adair and Scott Jackson brokered for the landlord.

Hey bibliophiles, heads' up in Kennesaw! Book Warehouse has inked a deal to open a store this September at Town Center at Cobb. The 4,600 SF retailer should have enough room for back copies of Bisnow as well.

Bowling alley giant Stars and Strikes has inked a 50k SF lease at Ackerman & Co's Woodstock Square Shopping Center in Woodstock. Ackerman's Angela Chapman bowled a spare to get the deal.

Actimize inked a deal for 15k SF at 500 Northwinds in Alpharetta. Joel and Granot's Alan Joel and Dan Granot (here) brokered the deal for the tenant while Lincoln Property Co's Hunter Henritze and Michael Howell brokered for the landlord.

Speaking of Michael and Hunter (seen here), the duo also helped lease nearly 11k SF to Profisee, a data management software firm, at Brookside II in Alpharetta. Cresa's David Rubenstein brokered for the tenant.

America's Capital Partners purchased TownPark Ravine, a three-building 367k SF office park in Kennesaw, from Taylor & Mathis for nearly $55M, according to Databank. Cushman & Wakefield's David Meline, Stewart Calhoun, Samir Idris and Casey Masters brokered the sale.

RADCO Cos has looked north for its latest purchase. The company just acquired two South Carolina apartment projects for $11M, including the 180-unit Country Club and the 136-unit Cobblestone (here). The buy gives RADCO more than 6,000 apartment units in its portfolio.

Ackerman & Co's Chitra Subbarayan and Andy Sutton helped Harbor Pines Partnership to sell the Harbor Pines Apartments, a 200-unit multifamily complex near the naval base in Saint Marys for $10M. A private investment group out of NY purchased it. 

DEVELOPMENT

Cocke, Finkelstein is moving forward on a development called Chamblee Gateway, a 283-unit Class-A apartment project that will deliver in 2016. The project will be on a six-acre parcel at the intersection of Peachtree Blvd and Chamblee-Tucker Rd.

JLB Partners is moving forward on its 5th & Peachtree Apartments project, an eight-story multifamily tower with ground-level retail at 782 Peachtree, according to permits filed with the City of Atlanta.

OliverMcMillan has filed permits with the City of Atlanta to begin site work on what its terming as Phase 2 of Buckhead, Atlanta. In this case, the developer is aiming to build a 14k SF shell building targeted toward retail. OliverMcMillan's spokesperson Rachel Tobin says the developer does not have a construction start date nor a tenant set, but is simply cleaning up the site prior to the mixed-use project's September opening. 

MANAGEMENT

Carter nabbed the program management assignment for the development of Valhalla. No, not Norse heaven. But Berry College's new athletic stadium for its recently launched NCAA Division III football program. The project is scheduled to finish by 2015.
