MENDEL-ING YOUR TAXES

He may have been networking at yesterday's REGA event at the Buckhead Club, but Colliers International's  Craig Mendel can now do your  taxes in Dunwoody. Well, sort of. He did secure a 2K SF lease for Levy Tax Consulting at 1050 Crown Pointe (Transwestern's Greg Frankum  brokered the deal for the landlord). Craig tells us this is a new company, and entrepreneurs are able to take advantage of today's uncertain environment faster than larger companies, although the due diligence by landlords is still fairly intensive. "It helps when your clients have a  solid reputation and a strong  book of business. Buildings that can accommodate entrepreneur's growth are also a critical factor." Craig and partner Michael Lipton have a decent pipeline of more than 50K SF of deals that are heading toward closure by the end of the year.
 
We also caught NAI/Brannen Goddard's  Ryan Doyle joking with Lincoln Property's David Danhof  at REGA. Ryan just completed a 5K SF office condo sale for Litigation Presentation, at Village Place at Brookhaven for about $210/SF.
