Jamestown Lands MailChimp

Atlanta

MailChimp is headed to Ponce City Market, meaning the bulk of its 450k SF of office space is filled. (If you haven't claimed the good office furniture by now, it's probably time to call a chiropractor.)

Sources confirmed the company has inked a deal in excess of 100k SF at Jamestown's mixed-use home run in Midtown, the largest deal in that redevelopment. We first reported that the company--an email marketing firm--was in talks with Jamestown for office space at the former Sears warehouse. The company will vacate Carriage Works at 512 Means St. (Stay tuned for the saddest email newsletter to the folks there. You ever see a monkey cry?)

This deal is a huge win for both Jamestown and CEO Matt Bronfman, who steered the redevelopment project through the trials and tribulations of the Great Recession until today. AthenaHealth and Cardlytics are already signed as tenants.
