Family Going Spec In Covington?
EcoSouth's William Kent Campbell is positioning his long-held family property as an industrial project. (Our family heirloom is a fruitcake that we've be regifting for the past 15 years.) He filed a development of regional impact plans with the state to develop a 60k SF flex building and a 781k SF distribution warehouse on 81 acres at 3001 Iris Dr in Covington. "At this point, it's spec," William tells us. "We will probably try to pre-lease." He also says the family will partner with a private developer.
