DOWNTOWN BUNKER BUSTERS
Central Atlanta Progress AJ Robinson captain hook annual meeting pemberton Place
We spoke with Central Atlanta Progress' Captain AJ "Hook" Robinson shortly after the organization hosted its annual meeting where Integral Group's Egbert Perry was installed as CAP's two-year chairman. Now coming out of the worst recession since the Great Depression, how are things looking for Downtown? ?I think people are sticking their heads out of the bunkers,? AJ says. ?We're seeing a lot more activity.? So far, Downtown Atlanta has landed theNational Center for Civil & Human Rights, the College Football Hall of Fame, and the new dolphin exhibit at the Georgia Aquarium. ?These things tend to raise the spirits and raise the profile of the office market,? he says. CAP held its annual meeting at Pemberton Place, under the tent used by the Peter Pan showcurrently taking place (with AJ announcing he will play the infamous villain at upcoming performances. Unfortunately, he was kidding).
