BIG NAMES BET BIG ON INDUSTRIAL
At our annual Atlanta Industrial Summit  last week, execs from IDI, Weeks Robinson, DCT Industrial and Seefried Properties all revealed plans for millions of new square feet in the coming year across the country. And in at least one case, that includes spec. (It's in Phoenix, but perhaps it's contagious.)

?We're pretty active on the  build-to-suit side around the country,? Rob told our audience of  more than 200  at the Grand Hyatt in Buckhead. Seefried has  8M SF under development, including an Amazon.com facility in California and a PetsMart warehouse in Pennsylvania. ?All of them are  fee businesses, so we're not getting rich,? he says. ?We're hitting singles and doubles.? Rob also says the firm is going spec with a 600k SF distribution facility in Phoenix.
