Doug, along with colleague Brian Katz, founded AREP in 2003 to acquire, develop and invest in primarily office assets in the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States. Since he co-founded AREP, Doug, together with Brian Katz, has acquired more than $3.5 billion in real estate transactions representing approximately 16 million square feet in six States and the District of Columbia. Doug has a diverse and extensive background spanning a multitude of areas including development, acquisition, disposition, financing and leasing, totaling more than 40 million square feet of transactions throughout his career. Prior to founding AREP, Doug spent 22 years with Cushman & Wakefield’s (C&W), co-founding its Washington DC operation in 1981 and serving in various senior roles as an Executive Vice President, growing the C&W regional operation to $50M in annual revenues. While at C&W, he was consistently recognized as one of the company’s top brokers in Nation, was a member of the National Board of Advisors and served on the National Arbitration Committee for the Eastern United States. Prior to 1981, Doug worked for a Netherlands funded DC based development firm, Savage Fogarty, on their development of office and mixed-use properties. Mr. Mundy oversees Oxford's Washington DC office with a primary focus on new business and is a member of the US executive committee. Mr. Mundy has over 25 years of real estate acquisitions, development, and operations experience. His previous leadership roles include being EVP at Equity Office Properties (the largest US REIT - $39 billion market value), CIO of Washington Real Estate Investment Trust and a Managing Principal at Rubenstein Partners. Mr. Mundy received his undergraduate degree at Boston University and his MBA at The Wharton School.

As part of the Investment & Innovation global hub, Jonathan Pearce counsels Ivanhoé Cambridge regional teams on all leasing and development activities to ensure alignment with the company’s strategic objectives. Jonathan has 30 years of experience in office & industrial leasing and the sale of corporate investment assets throughout North America. His responsibilities also include leasing for all owned (managed and non-managed) properties and developments in Canada and the Continental US, currently comprising more than 120 million square feet in multiple markets. Ivanhoé Cambridge currently has four office developments under construction or pre-development in Austin, Denver, Toronto and Mexico City, and a variety of industrial projects under development North America. Jonathan also serves on the board of IDI Logistics, a leading US logistics investor and developer based in Atlanta, that is co-owned by Ivanhoé Cambridge. Jonathan holds a BSc. (Hons) in Urban Land Economics and is a Professional Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

With more than 38 years of experience, Kay is a recognized expert on workplace design and strategy issues. She is an award-winning designer who has worked with several Fortune 500 companies to optimize their global real estate portfolios and create innovative work environments based on their unique organizational DNA. As Co-Director of HOK’s WorkPlace team, a practice that supports organizations undertaking multiple projects in various locations, and a member of HOK’s Board of Directors, Kay is responsible for helping clients redefine how, when and where their people work, and supports a holistic design approach that integrates an organization’s people, processes, and technology. She was recently selected from her field of peers to provide Congressional Subject Matter Expert Testimony to the U.S. House of Representatives on “Federal Real Estate Post-COVID-19: A View from The Private Sector.” In 2020 Kay was named ASID’s Designer of Distinction for the year. Kay is considered an industry thought leaders on workplace. She has authored multiple white papers and articles on a variety of design related topics including wellbeing; next gen workforce; technologies impact on the workplace; space fusion and the rise of the human factor. In 2021 Kay was elected to both the ASID and the IIDA College of Fellows and inducted into the 2022 SCN Hall of Fame, celebrate contributions to the AV/IT industry. In 2022 Kay was recognized by both Melwood and IFMA for her continued research and efforts to bring awareness to DEI initiatives and the needs of the neurodiverse community. Kay was awarded the IFMA Distinguished Author Awards for her research and whitepapers on Neurodiversity and was awarded the first Melwood Ability Awards - Inaugural Accelerator Award for her efforts to raise awareness about the needs of the Neurodiverse. Kay currently serves on the National ASID Foundation Research Taskforce, the IWBI Health Equity Advisory Team and the Advisory Board for WorkDesign Magazine and I&S Magazine. She was recently appointed to the University of Richmond Customer Experience Advisory Board after serving two years on the George Washington University Customer Experience Certificate Program Advisory Council. During her career she has also served on the International Boards of CoreNet Global, AVIXA, and IFI - International Federation of Interior Designers /Architects, the Boards of ASID, IIDA and NCQLP and the Advisory Board of Virginia Tech School of Architecture and Design and NVCC. She is an active member of IFMA and co- founder of the IFMA Workplace Evoluntionaries, WE community and serves as an Executive committee for WE. Kay is committed to mentoring the next generation of designers and as such mentors multiple individuals within HOK and across the industry. She is also a Founder of the DC Chapter of UPWARD, a global network dedicated to the professional advancement of women in the workplace. “We are witnessing the evolution of workplace, and design can be a powerful tool in that endeavor. Rachel Gutter is President of the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI), a public benefit corporation with a mission to improve human health and well-being through the built environment. In 2016, as IWBI’s Chief Product Officer, Rachel expanded the WELL Building Standard to address all building types, as well as whole districts and communities. Becoming President in 2018, she led the effort to bring a new version of WELL to market, shaped IWBI’s research and education platforms to accelerate market transformation and developed the WELL Portfolio program and IWBI Membership platform.  Rachel came to IWBI after nearly a decade at the U.S. Green Building Council, where she served as Senior Vice President of Knowledge and was Founding Director of the Center for Green Schools.  A widely sought after expert and inspiring speaker, Rachel’s game-changing contributions to sustainable building have been featured in The New York Times, The Washington Post, NPR, FOX News, and CNN, as well as in leading industry publications including Fast Company, Metropolis, Grist and GreenBIZ.
