Jan Hein serves as Senior Managing Director and Head of The Netherlands, where he is responsible for all real estate activities across The Netherlands, including acquisition, management and development. Since his appointment in 2024, Jan Hein has been leading the bold redevelopment of a 100,000 sqm mixed-use project in Amsterdam. As an experienced real estate executive, Jan Hein has a deep knowledge of the Dutch market. After beginning his career at Jones Lang Lasalle in Amsterdam, he spent 15 years with real estate developer EDGE (formerly OVG) where he contributed to the growth of the business in a number of roles, including Managing Director for The Netherlands. Throughout his career, Jan Hein has been active in various networks including the ULI, NEPROM (Dutch association of developers) and Zuidas Green Business Club. Jan Hein holds a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Groningen.

Veronica has 26 years of experience in Continental European Real Estate having been involved in fund management, acquisitions, asset management, research, and strategy. Veronica joined from abrdn where she was Head of Core European Funds. where she was overseeing the multi-sector strategies investing in commercial pan-European real estate Previously, she was Deputy Head of Core Plus Funds at abrdn with responsibility over several core plus strategies across UK and Europe. Veronica joined Standard Life Investments (SLI) in Paris as Deputy Fund Manager in 2012 to provide senior assistance to manage SLI European Property Growth Fund, becoming its Fund Manager in 2014. Since joining SLI, Veronica conducted a full repositioning of the portfolios to bring the fund to performance. In addition, she played a significant role in growing SLI European real estate portfolio and actively participated in the development of SLI’s approx. €2.5bn value-add strategies. Prior to joining SLI, Veronica was responsible for managing a Pan-European Real Estate Fund for Clerical Medical (Lloyds Banking Group) from 2007, initially as Director, European Property in Invista Real Estate Investment Management Limited in London and subsequently, as Investment Director of Scottish Widows Investment Partnership based in Edinburgh. Veronica was a key element in building up the European business of Invista being actively involved in their acquisition programme as well as the asset management of its portfolio since 2005. Prior to Invista, she was a Vice-President at Harbert Management Corporation based in London, where she was involved in acquisitions and asset management of the Continental European portfolio with a focus on value-add and opportunistic strategies over 5 years. Previously, she was an Analyst at the research team in Security Capital in Brussels.

Pieter is Co-Head Real Estate Netherlands at Schroders Capital, having joined in February 2022 after 10 years as managing director at Cairn Real Estate since 2011. Pieter started working in 2001 as an analyst within investment banking for Lehman Brothers before joining ABN AMRO MeesPierson in 2005 where he became managing director Real Estate (in 2008) responsible for all real estate investment funds and strategies. John joined Invesco Real Estate (IRE) in April 2013 and is responsible for spearheading the expansion of the firm’s European residential expertise and investments in Europe. With over 26 years’ experience in the industry, John spent 12 years at Grosvenor, where he was the head of residential strategy, and at Aberdeen Property Investors as director of residential fund management. In these roles, John has raised, invested and managed c.£200m in two residential funds on behalf of UK and European institutional investors. He also has experience with the student and serviced apartment sectors. John’s extensive experience covers transactions, developments, valuations as well as asset and property management. John is a Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, has a BSc (hons) in Rural Land Management and is a member of the BPF and IPF.2017

Richard has moderated & created over 600 events in Europe, USA and Asia and brings over 30 years of experience in financial markets, media, TV, events & publishing Richard is also a Founding Partner of the Senior Housing & Healthcare Association (SHHA).
