As many know I have used the last 20 years of my career as a scholar-activist engaging in social innovation, public health interventions, evaluation, youth development interventions, system reform and equity issues. Over this time I have amassed incredible national and international experiences that have shaped my understanding and approaches to community transformation.

These growing experiences combined with my West Philly social entrepreneurship has sparked my to pursue my passion for promoting the optimal development and outcomes as a community centered social impact real estate developer. What many may not know is that I have always been an entrepreneur and real estate owner. Some may remember I owned and operated Kenny's Dry Cleaners in Lincoln, NE while an Associate Professor with an interests in hiring formerly incarcerated citizens. In addition to designing and building my own homes I also developed single and multi-family properties for sale and rentals.

Currently, I am building a portfolio of community centered social impact real estate projects for investors. In addition, I am translating social innovation principles in the re-design of urban neighborhoods that have been divested in for decades. By promoting equitable revitalization plans that include opportunities for current residents to invests; mixed income residential properties; mixed use commercial spaces, and investments in health and well being infrastructure - Ujima Community Transformation Developers invests in People ... Place ... Progress.

Very excite to contribute to education achievement, public health and the economic mobility by working with communities to re-design urban urban neighborhoods so that families and children can live to optimally. Send a message if you want to know more information about this journey.

  2. What restrictions and protocols do employees have to follow outside of work?

  3. What has the senior housing sector learned from this pandemic that can be useful even when this health crisis is over?

  4. A lot of developers were betting big on senior housing because of the growing aging population. Will we see that trend continue?

  5. Are demands changing for what seniors want out of their housing?
