Mike has 18 years of Real Estate experience covering the UK and Europe, with the last 12 years focused on Investment. He joined DWS in 2017 and since then has been leading investment into the BTR sector, in both the UK and Ireland. In the past 4 years he has overseen the investment of over €2.5BN, the majority of which was targeting Residential and Student Housing. Prior to DWS, Mike was an Investment Director at PATRIZIA and previously held positions at Macquarie Bank and BNP Paribas Real Estate. He is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Roland has worked for the University of London for over 17 years. He has extensive experience of the Student Housing Sector, having managed the University’s Private Housing Unit and set up Student Homes; the University’s not for profit letting agency. Roland also led on the University of London’s input into the London Plan. Research carried out by the University of London provided much of the evidence base for Policy H17 on Student Housing. He is currently involved in the University’s attempted acquisition of a further 2,500 bed-spaces by 2022.

Jeannie Wong, Senior Vice President in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group, joined Brookfield in 2009 in Toronto as a Manager in the Corporate Finance team. Since then, Ms. Wong has worked in the New York and Berlin offices in various roles before relocating to London in 2014. Ms. Wong is currently part of the European Real Estate Investments Group focusing on Portfolio Management of Brookfield’s Global Opportunistic Real Estate Funds. Ms. Wong serves as a director on several of Brookfield’s real estate portfolio company boards in Europe. Prior to joining Brookfield, she was part of the assurance and advisory group at Ernst & Young. Ms. Wong holds a Bachelor of Arts and Master’s degrees in finance and accounting from the University of Waterloo and is a Chartered Professional Accountant.

Having qualified as a solicitor in 2007, Erin joined Investec in 2012 as Legal Counsel before moving in to her current role in 2016, where she is responsible for managing a large portfolio of clients, who largely focus on development and value-add activities. Her focus is on sourcing lending opportunities largely for development in residential properties for sale and rent, purpose-built student accommodation and the industrial and logistics property sectors.

Adam is head of the Real Estate team in Nottingham and a key partner in Gateley’s nationally recognised Real Estate practice. His clients include investment funds, occupiers and both public and private sector organisations involved in regeneration and development schemes of all values. He is a real estate investment and development specialist, with particular expertise in purpose built PRS (BTR) and student accommodation schemes, investment fund transactions and healthcare related property matters. His experience includes site assembly, joint venture and profit share arrangements, development agreements, investment acquisitions, funding agreements, property management agreements, the negotiation of institutionally acceptable leases, pre-lets and forward sales as well as general property and landlord and tenant transactions.
