Facebook

Katherine Shappley leads Facebook's North American Global Business Group. She also heads the Facebook Austin office, where she’s overseen its growth to be one Facebook’s largest office worldwide. A ten-year veteran of Facebook, Katherine oversees sales and account management for businesses who use Facebook to connect and grow. Her passion for small business started after college while teaching English internationally in Turkey, the Czech Republic, and South Korea. Many of Katherine's students were small business owners with unique passions and a hunger for learning. Katherine saw firsthand the impact enabling small business growth can have on economies around the globe. Previously, Katherine led Facebook’s US Agency and Financial Services sales teams in New York and before joining Facebook, Katherine led successful teams at Microsoft and Quigo Technologies. A native of Mississippi, Katherine earned a BA in Literature from the University of Mississippi. She now lives in Austin, TX with her husband John and sons Henry and Miles. She and her family love to enjoy live music and trying out the newest Tex-Mex restaurants in the city.

Tyler is a Vice President at Bisnow, overseeing its Northeast and Texas offices. Managing team members across the sales, events and account management departments, he works with the local teams to produce best-in-class events and optimize sales efforts. Tyler has been with Bisnow for seven years; prior to his current role, he oversaw Bisnow's West Coast offices, launched its inside sales team and managed its account management team. A native of Massachusetts, Tyler earned his BA in Marketing from University of Delaware and currently lives in Brooklyn, where he is an active member of the Bushwick Community Board.
