Warriors Ethos Gala!

Last night, we headed to the Ritz-Carlton Pentagon City for the third annual Warriors Ethos Gala.

We snapped keynote speaker Secretary of the Army Eric Fanning with The National Society of Collegiate Scholars' and Warrior Ethos' Carsen Zarin, National Gallery of Art's Benjamin Masri-Cohen, and the evening's emcee, Medal of Honor recipient and Boeing's Capt. Florent Groberg, Ret.

Warriors Ethos is dedicated to providing assistance in the career planning, professional development and placement of wounded service members, veterans and their families during their transition to civilian life. Here USMC Maj. Gen. Mark Clark, Ret., joins US Army deputy chief of staff, Lt. Gen. Joseph Anderson, and Warriors Ethos founder and Army veteran Jared Shepard. 

Now in its third year, the gala has been a crucial component in helping our military veterans. Here, supporter Beth Anderson joins Jane Murray and her husband, Lt. Gen. John Murray. 

Before the gala, guests enjoyed a cocktail reception featuring an open bar and passed hors d'oeuvres. We loved the mushroom quiche and crab cakes. Here, Deja Vu Boutique's Joanne Sapp, Miss Maryland 2016 Hannah Brewer and realtor Anita Galang-Mason. 

Following the reception, guests enjoyed a delicious meal and live auction in the ballroom. Here, Army veteran and Insignia Technology Services' Michelle Walla with Air Force veteran Ken Yorgen, Col. Tom Loper, Ret., and his wife, Army veteran Kathy Loper.
