Last night we also went to the Embassy of Ukraine for a fascinating talk about the country from its leaders, who are very impressive women. We also heard from Melanne Verveer, the first US Ambassador for Global Women’s Issues and Vital Voices co-founder. We snapped her as she signed her book, FAST FORWARD: How Women Can Achieve Power and Purpose, for 3D Communications CEO Cindy DiBiasi before we headed downstairs for a delightful reception with Ukrainian food (stuffed cabbage and smoked salmon) and music.
