It has been 10 years since the show’s debut on Broadway and 50 years since the first broadcast of the animated television classic, which originally aired on CBS Dec. 18, 1966. Leading the show during the National Theatre engagement is Philip Bryan, performing as the Grinch, here along with Julia Rose DiPiazza, playing Cindy Lou Who.

Max the Dog narrates (actor Andreas Wyder, pictured here as Young Max) as the mean and scheming Grinch, whose heart is two sizes too small, decides to steal Christmas from the holiday-loving Whos. The heartwarming holiday musical is perfect for both kids and adults alike. Performances continue through Dec. 31.
