Turn Up The Heat!
Last night we went to the 11th Annual Turn Up The Heat Gala to benefit the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance at The Ronald Reagan Building.
The Ovarian Cancer National Alliance connects ovarian cancer survivors, women at risk, caregivers and health providers with the resources they need, and ensures that it's a priority for lawmakers. We snapped CEO Audra Moran and EVP Calaneet Balas bookending the evening's special guest, International Culinary Center founder and CEO Dorothy Cann Hamilton.
The gala celebrated the talents of the region’s best women chefs, restaurateurs and mixologists. Here, Geospatial Intelligence and Analysis' Christian Moscoso, Keller Williams Realty's Patricia Teck Seggerman, Inova Cancer Institute's Jennifer McGihon, and Queen Bee Designs' Allison Priebe Brooks.
Guests enjoyed silent and live auctions, cocktails and tastings from 60 top female chefs, such as Veloce's Ruth Gresser, Women Chefs & Restaurateurs' Sue McWilliams, Righteous Cheese's Carolyn Stromberg, and Buffalo & Bergen's Liz Clifford.
