South Glen Band!

Placeholder

Doctors, lawyers and finance execs by day and rock stars by night! The South Glen band played at the Barking Dog in Bethesda. It started as a garage band among friends, and got its name because they practiced on South Glen Road in Potomac. They all have demanding day jobs and aren't in it for the money, but rather to have fun. They play at private parties, fundraisers, an occasional bar gig for friends, and donate their services for charity silent auctions. They do rock covers, but add their own arrangements and style, often mixing in country rock, mostly from the '70s to the '90s. The South Glen Band: Urologic Surgeons of DC's John Losee (bass), Shulman Rogers' Lane Hornfeck (vocals), Kevin Kennedy (lead vocals/acoustic guitar), Cantor Fitzgerald's Andrew Weiss (rhythm guitar), Rockville District Court Judge John Moffett (drums), and, not pictured, Carmel & Carmel's Frank Carmel (keyboard), and Investment Management Sales' Tom Scanlan (lead guitar).
