Raising An Entreprenuer Book Signing!

Before Labor Day, we headed to Politics & Prose bookstore in Chevy Chase, DC, for a very special book signing.

We snapped Jayne Plank, mother of Under Armour founder and CEO Kevin Plank, and Raising an Entrepreneur author and former Scene publisher Margot Machol Bisnow as they discuss Margot's newly released book. The book's concept focuses on interviews with dozens of mothers of successful entrepreneurs and commonalities in how they raised their children.

Prior to the book signing, attendees enjoyed a reception in the bookstore and had a chance to mingle with the author and several of the mothers interviewed for the book. Here, 94.7 Fresh FM's Tommy McFly joins Crystal City BID CEO Angie Fox, Tommy's co-host, Kelly Collis, and Aerospace Corp's Patrick Bauer.

Guests enjoyed a selection of charcuterie and white wine prior to the discussion. Here, Pitcairn's Brett Scola with former DC Mayor Anthony Williams.
