Point Foundation!

Last night we also headed to the Room & Board penthouse on 14th Street for the Point Foundation's annual DC Cornerstone Society Reception. We snapped its CEO, Jorge Valencia, with DC Trustees: Mars Inc's Kelly Horton, James Mann, Celina Gerbic, PwC's Ed Glasscock, and DC State Board of Education president Jack Jacobson. 

The Point Foundation empowers LGBTQ students to achieve their full academic and leadership potential. Here, Hogan & Lovell's Michael Glasser, supporter Lee Christopher, and Keast & Co's Rob Keast. 

Guests enjoyed tastings from several restaurants, including delish lamb chops from Local 16 and bacon-wrapped dates from Drafting Table. Here, Strategint's Christine Van Sloten, Creative Family Connections' Ruthi David, consultant Marc Janoff, and FedChoice Federal Credit Union's Kevin Roland. 

Guests enjoyed a variety of specialty cocktails from DC's hottest new bars, including Passenger Punch from Cotton & Reed and a mezcal cocktail "For Eufemia" from Compass Rose. Here, The Raben Group's Daniel Penchina, CapitalOne's and MIT Point alumnus Samir Luther, and The American Public Health Association's and Host Committee member Don Hoppert.
