Last night we also headed to the 21st annual Let the World Be Your Oyster reception hosted by the Gulf Oyster Industry Council at Acadiana.The exclusive reception allowed guests to enjoy all things oyster, prepared by talented chefs from Louisiana. We snapped P&J Oyster Co’s Sal Sunseri, flanked by New Orleans chefs, Zea’s Greg Riggio and Restaurant Revolution’s Chris Lusk.

Oyster lovers tasted crispy Oysters Rockefeller, sweet and spicy sesame oysters, marinated oysters and oysters on a half shell. Here, the Mayor of New Orleans, Mitch Landrieu, is bookended by Roll Call’s Jason Dick, and by Simone Ink’s Simone Rathle and Meg Malloy.
