Grapes With The Apes!
We headed to the Smithsonian National Zoo for Grapes with the Apes, a wine tasting event organized by Friends of the National Zoo. We snapped GuideStar's Jackie Enterline with Latham & Watkins' Nick Fekeci, Plex System's Jess Ankney and DoD's John Wilson.
Attendees were given after-hours access to many of the zoo's exhibits while enjoying wine tastings from dozens of wineries and local suppliers. Here, FONZ supporter Michelle O'Rourke joins recruiter Arielle Brown and hospitality consultant Ashley Miller.
Besides the fantastic wine, attendees were treated to live music and local art vendors. Here, Global HMC's April Harding and her husband, American Academy of Actuaries' Eric Harding, join her colleague, Mary Ellen Hegarty.
We slipped over to the VIP tent, which featured exclusive tastings and food pairings from a variety of top DC restaurants.
