Go Bo Party!

Friday, we went to the 12th annual Go Bo Party at The Johns House. We snapped the Johns brothers—Tucker, Gibson and Bo Johns—flanking NIH’s Jocelyn Voell Wells.

Guests were encouraged to don their duffel bag, hiking boots and camping gear for this camp-themed party, which featured an open bar, a live funk band, a camp cafeteria-style buffet dinner and a complimentary bag from SCOUT as well as entry to the after-party at Smith Point. All proceeds from the event benefited the Georgetown Hospital Emergency Family Relief Fund, which helps families whose children are battling cancer and being treated there. Here, lobbyist Elena Tompkins, Susie Carlson and Water Street Gym’s Susan Kostorowski.

While in the sixth grade, Bo Johns battled cancer and he saw many kids and their families that needed help during his 87 days at Georgetown University Hospital. So, the Johns family created the Go Bo Fund to assist the Georgetown Hospital Emergency Family Relief Fund. Here, clinical pharmacist Pierre de Lucy and EDENS CEO Jodie McLean.
