We went to one of our favorite events Saturday, the Fashion for Paws Runway Show at the Grand Hyatt.

F4P is a one-of-a-kind fashion and luxury brand event supporting DC’s animals through the Washington Humane Society. We snapped MicroPact's Eryn Appell, WUSA9 reporter and F4P runway model Nikki Burdine, and Department of Homeland Security's Shawna Garrison.

More than 1,000 enjoyed the 10th annual F4P, hosted by WJLA’s Dr. Katy Nelson of The Pet Show and senior political reporter Scott Thuman. In addition to the highly anticipated runway show, there was an open bar, hors d'oeuvres, a DJ and dancing.

Rent the Runway provided the designer looks for the ladies on the runway and CityCenter's Arc’teryx, Canali, Paul Stuart, and Zadig & Voltaire dresses the men. Doggie couture was by Mallory Hancock, cared for on-site by AnytimeK9. Here, Teresa and Mark Del Rosso. (Thanks to Moshe Zusman for this photo.)

100% of event proceeds benefit the critical services of Washington Humane Society. Here, its CEO, Lisa LaFontaine, with WHS/WARL board member Anissa Grossman and Washington Institute of Dermatologic Laser Surgery's Tina Alster.

Those on the runway, fundraising models, raised at least $3k in a friendly competition over the course of 12 weeks, for $340k. Here, DC Shiba Inu Rescue's Patricia Hope, Nathalie Abutaha and Lacey McCarthy.
