DC Swim Week Grand Finale!
Saturday, we went to the DC Swim Week 2016 Grand Finale at The Embassy Row Hotel.
DCSW is an annual event that promotes national and international swimwear designers of the latest trends in swimwear fashion. We snapped Runway Authority's Ashley Hickman and models Asia Abdullah and Shantal Hill, with Shutter DC's Michael Briscoe.
DCSW also aims to recognize local brands, the latest trends in summer fashion, emerging designers and other artists in the fashion industry. Here, DC Swim Week founder and creative director Moh Ducis, DCSW director of programming and backstage manager Oliwia Garaj and Saphire Cos' Sean Rashid.
Saturday’s event was the culmination of four nights of DC Swim Week, with each evening’s fashion show featuring four or five designers and 20 to 30 beautiful male and female models. Here, Myles Doherty, IHI Modeling Agency's Nicky Freeman, 2016 International Ms. Maryland Shenetta Malkia (who also hosted the event's red carpet) and model Christina Coleman.
