DC-CAP Celebrity Roast!
We went to the JW Marriott for the Michael Wilbon and James Brown Celebrity Roast of Gary Williams to raise funds for DC CAP.
The two roasters: CBS NFL Today host James Brown and ESPN Pardon the Interruption co-host Michael Wilbon. The DC College Access Program, DC-CAP, founded in 1999, enables DC high school students to enroll in and graduate from college.
We snapped the subject of the roast, Maryland basketball legend Gary Williams, with DC-CAP Board Chair Ted Leonsis and CEO Argelia Rodriguez.
The wonderful VIP reception had open bar, cheese station, and passed hors d'oeuvres. Here, 'Skins legend Ken Harvey is surrounded by Pepco VP Tom Graham, CEO Joe Rigby and EVP Dave Velazquez, and by APTS CEO Patrick Butler.
