Last night, we headed to the Kennedy Center Concert Hall for the 36th annual Choral Arts Holiday Concert and Gala!
We snapped Choral Arts executive director Tad Czyzewski with his predecessor, Debra Kraft, and Choral Arts baritone James Shaffran.
Attendees enjoyed a Swiss-inspired concert and dinner in recognition of the generous patronage of Swiss Ambassador Martin Dahinden, whom we snapped with his wife, Anita Dahinden.
Before the Gala, guests enjoyed a cocktail reception that included a silent auction with a National Geographic Galapagos Excursion and a private dinner party at the Swiss Ambassador's Residence among the prizes. Here, seminarian Pamela Kipps and her husband, Kipps DeSanto CEO Bob Kipps, Cushman & Wakefield and Choral Arts finance co-chair, Cathy Jones and Fairfax County Public Schools' special education teacher Catherine Martin.
Following the cocktail reception, guests enjoyed a Swiss-inspired, three-course dinner featuring braised beef short ribs and a traditional Swiss Bundnernusstorte Roll. Here, Choral Arts artistic director Scott Tucker joins Robin Fetsch, his wife, Julie Tucker, and Bill Fetsch during the cocktail reception prior to the dinner.
Following the dinner, guests danced to live music performed by Round Midnight. Here, Sapient Government's Kenyon Erickson joins singers and Choral Arts board members Anne Keiser and Rosa Lamoreaux.
TTR Sotheby's Christie Weiss joins The Faith & Politics Institute's Rob Liberatore and former Rep. Earl Pomeroy.
Coldwell Banker's Donnie Wintermute joins Choral Arts' Brandon Straub, the NSO's Krysta Cihi and Hartley LLC Real Estate's Diane Hartley.
Following the dinner program, it was announced that Finnish Ambassador Kirsti Kauppi will be next year's honorary gala patron. Here she is with the Finnish Embassy's cultural attaché, Annina Aalto.
MedStar's Fred Finelli and his wife, Victoria Finelli, surround Bernard Brown Plastic Surgery's Coleman Brown.
Choral Arts patron Joan Schaefer and her husband, RBC Wealth Management's Clayton Schaefer, flank Choral Arts patron Josephine Fleming.
