Last night we headed to the Kennedy Center Concert Hall for the Choral Arts Society to hear the world premiere of Wadsworth: Battle Flags and Brahms' Ein Deutsches Requiem. Here, the Choral Arts Chorus and guest baritone Trevor Scheunemann led by conductor Scott Tucker.
The performance had special significance as it was dedicated to Choral Arts beloved conductor, founder and Artistic Director Emeritus Norman Scribner, who passed away in March. Here, members of the Chorus.
Earlier, we went to a pre-gala reception in honor of Norman Scribner at the Forest Hills home of Cynthia Dunbar and Charlie Cerf, whom we snapped bookended by Choral Arts pianist Brandon Straub and soprano Rosa Lamoreaux.
Choral Arts patrons and board members Nadine Wethington, Nick Smith, executive director Debra Kraft, Rob Liberatore and Liz Tankersley.
