Fringe has created another free public art commotion—this time by bringing music to the masses for the two-day festival, curated by chief music curator Jim Thomson. We snapped Ezra Mae and The Gypsy Moon's Travis Kinder and Stephanie Lanham flanking environmentalist Hanna Rhodes, joined by painter Noody Engkhasompob.

Saturday’s music lineup included performances by Juanita Ca$h, Dos Santos Anti-Beat Orchestra, Kino Musica, Shark Week and Rufus Da B’more Brass Factory. Here, 178 Product featuring Sal P. of Liquid Liquid performs.

In addition to these local bands, guests enjoyed a beer tent and food trucks serving culinary delights of the District. Here, Shark Week drummer Daniel Newhauser, merchant Glendy Maldonado, vocalist Ryan Mitchell and guitarist Alberto Pacheco.

Capital Fringe’s focus is to expand audience’s appetites for independent theater, music, art, dance and unclassifiable forms of live performance and visual art. Here, Capital Fringe’s Colin Deick, Julianne Brienza and Erica Brown.
