Crazy busy time of year! In addition to everything else going on, we went to three great galas last weekend.
On Saturday night we headed to the Omni Shoreham in Woodley Park for Bread for the City Good Hope Gala. We snapped Board member and PerkinsCoie's Don Friedman, his wife, DCCAH's Rhona Friedman, BFTC CEO George Jones, his wife, Carol Jones, and Board Chairman Paul Taskier.
The gala raised funds for Bread For The City's core programs that reach 34,000 DC residents every year. Here, CHANGE president Serra Sippel joins her husband, councilmember David Grosso.
Bread For The City's jobs clinic provides paid internships. Here, supporter Christopher Herrling, Bread for the City's Randy Abramson, Peace Corps' Mike Lucrezio, Jones Day and board member Laura Tuell, and Nova Fairfax Hospital's Randall Myers.
A festive cocktail reception and silent auction preceded the main event. Here, Avalere's Josh Seidman and Jocelyn Guyer, Bristol Myers' Tamar Thompson, BFTC volunteer Jalyn Henton, his wife, board member and GlaxoSmithKline's Tanisha Carino, GSK's Alexis Ahlstrom, Avalere's Kai Pantin and Stacy Critzer, with the IDB's Ruben Doboin.
Kelley Drye's Louise Hilsen, CFOX Communications' Don Foley, and Infineon Technologies' Meg Hardon.
