An Affair of the Heart!
We went to the Wardman Park Marriott for the 68th annual Affair of the Heart Fashion Show and Luncheon. We snapped board members Ellen Kay and Melissa Siegel with benefactor Donna Marriott.
The luncheon is organized by the Women's Board of the Greater Washington chapter of the American Heart Association. Here, board members Cindy Jones, Marlene Malek, Darby Gingery and philanthropist Amy Baier.
At the VIP reception we saw event sponsor Adeler Jeweler's Wendy Adeler and Valentina Adeler surround board member Mimi Lawless.
A delicious three-course lunch had a local greens salad, roasted free range chicken, and a cherry bombe. Here, TTR Sotheby's Maggie Shannon, Lascaris Design Group's Carol Lascaris, and board member Fran Usher.
Following the luncheon, models showcased the latest couture thanks to Bloomingdales. Here its reps Howard Barshow, Effie Elkorek, and Susan Cannaday join AHA DC Executive Director Soula Antoniou.
