The Man in the High Castle!

We went to the Newseum where Amazon Studios held a special DC screening of its new series The Man in the High Castle. Based on Philip K. Dick's award-winning novel, the series explores what it would be like if the Allied Powers had lost WWII, and Japan and Germany ruled the USA. Guests enjoyed a cocktail reception, followed by the screening. After showing the first episode, The Hill editor in chief Bob Cusack, right, moderated a panel discussion on the political and policy themes in the show, available on Amazon Prime. We snapped him with the panelists, US Holocaust Memorial Museum Curator Dr. Steve Luckert, George Mason University Law Professor Ilya Somin, Amazon Studios Head of Drama Morgan Wandell, and New America's Open Technology Institute Director Kevin S. Bankston.
