Reading is Fundamental!

Last night we also went to the Four Seasons Georgetown for the annual Reading is Fundamental Gala. We snapped former VA Governor Chuck Robb and Lynda Johnson Robb surrounded by WNO Board member Carolyn Simpson and her husband John and by insurance guru Larry Meyers and his wife Kris.
This year the gala had a Cat in the Hat theme. Here RIF Pittsburgh executive director Florri Ladov with Volunteer of the Year JoEllen Leach and her husband, Reed Smith’s Fred Leach.
RIF Board member Jerry McCoy, supporter Heather Wheeler, and her husband, Hogan Lovells’ Doug Wheeler. The cocktail reception had cheeses and appetizers and a large silent auction with original Dr. Seuss illustrations; dinner featured rack of lamb and coconut sorbet.
