Noche de Gala!

Last night we went to the Mayflower for the National Hispanic Foundation for the Arts Noche de Gala.

The Hispanic-American community joined for a night of celebration and to promote Latino talent. We snapped US Election Assistance Commission’s Bert Benavides, Obama administration’s Anne Alonzo, designer Veronica Valencia, and her husband former Mexican Ambassador Arturo Sarukhan.

DCPS’ Shajena Erazo, Kaiman Bros Media’s Emily Salazar, Latino Magazine’s Dalia Smith, NBC 4 anchor Erika Gonzalez, and Lockheed Martin Communications’ Donna Savarese. During the dinner program, guests enjoyed performances by up-and-coming artists; the highlight was an award to Grammy-winning artist Juanes for his philanthropic efforts to promote the arts.
