Michael Schlow is Up for Round 2

The New England-based celebrity chef/restaurateur with roots in the DC area will open his second restaurant in the District this summer. Unlike Michael’s restaurant Tico on 14th Street that also exists in Boston, The Riggsby inside the Carlyle Hotel will be an original. Expect American fare with European twists for breakfast, lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch, plus an inviting bar with classic cocktails and copious wines by the glass, The Washington Post’s Tim Carman reports.
