Go off menu in the best possible way at DBGB Kitchen + Bar by taking on the whole hog feast at Daniel Boulud’s CityCenterDC restaurant. Advance planning (72 hours) is needed, and it gets you shared appetizers, suckling pig, sides, and Baked Alaska for dessert. The idea for these decadent dinners was imported from the restaurant’s New York location. We came in for a close-up of the suckling pig immediately after he was carved revealing rounds stuffed with pork loin, onions, apples, chestnuts and more. Whole hog dinners cost $495 for up to eight people (not including drinks), so start thinking birthday party.
