Where Don Brown and Glenn Rosenthal Go for Chocolate

Placeholder

Jim Graham, right, has been a noted NoVa tech entrepreneur, but now with wife Ellen is volunteering on a new mission. Two years ago, they helped their special needs daughter set up a nonprofit in Fairfax called “Cameron’s Chocolates,” a store that produces some of the best treats you can imagine. Their motto is, “We don’t hire people to make chocolates; we make chocolates so we can hire people.” With them last week we snapped a big supporter, Carlyle’s Allan Holt, who helped fund the kitchen and bought 100 boxes of chocolate the first year. Other allies include Rosenthal Properties’ Glenn Rosenthal, who helped them find their space and buys chocolates for all his tenants; and JBG co-founder Don Brown, an investor in Jim’s tech firms who introduced him to famed Chilmark Chocolates on Martha’s Vineyard, where he learned this new business. Jim says that Don is now their most loyal consumer of milk chocolate covered almonds. See a great video on the work here.
