That New Screen at Tysons

TransitScreen unveiled its first live, real-time projection screen of public transportation schedules on glass at Tysons Corner this week. The 4 foot by 6 foot glass projection screen near the Tysons Silver line will reach the 15,000 to 25,000 people who walk by it daily, says co-founder Ryan Croft. The idea is to "help drive the transformation of Tysons from a destination for drivers into a walkable, urban oasis," adds Ryan. It’s the first public projection display of its kind in the DC region and it will be the first of many in partnership with Wells + Associates, a traffic engineering services firm. TransitScreen, based in 1776 and San Fran, has been setting up its transit information screens in major cities across North America.
