Millennials Are Heading to the ‘Burbs

Placeholder

While there is certainly no shortage of Millennials living in urban areas, suburbs are starting to see their fair share as well.

Take the case of Concord Park at Rusett, a high-end community in Laurel. Millennials whose finances can support higher rents are attracted to the killer amenities that the community offers, GlobeSt reports. The property just traded for $79.2M to PRP/AREA, undoubtedly helped by the heavy interest from the highly sought-after Millennial demographic.

The huge number of Millennials in the area will eventually be looking to put their roots down a little further away from the city. A transition to high-end suburban living could be the first step in that process. [GS]
