1812 North Moore in the Running for Advisory Board Co HQ

The Advisory Board Co is searching for a new HQ, and 1812 North Moore in Rosslyn, the tallest building in the region, is in contention. The $2.4B healthcare consulting company is angling to leave its two buildings at 2445 M St and 1227 25th St NW in 2017 and 2019. It's considering projects of 500k SF or more, according to the Washington Post, and the 39-story, 580k SF tower in Rosslyn, built on spec by Monday Properties, certainly qualifies. Other proposals on that list are a current parking lot at 501 K St NW, owned by Guy Steuart II, and a proposed office building at 655 New York Ave NW, by Douglas Development. A source close to the search tells Bisnow that 1812 North Moore is not in the top two sites still being considered. The skyscraper has been completely empty since it opened in October 2013. The Advisory Board expects to make a decision later this year. [WaPo]
