Hera Hub Co-Working Space Chooses Friendship Heights Location
Women-focused co-working space Hera Hub DC is setting itself apart from other DC co-working spaces, starting with its location in Friendship Heights. Owner Julia Westfall says she wanted to be close to where people live, rather than downtown, since most women working from home are looking for more flexibility. Hera Hub also has a different look from downtown's startups, incubators and co-working spaces, Technical.ly DC reports. Rather than a high-tech space with concrete floors, you'll find fountains, spa-inspired colors and artwork by female artists. Hera Hub DC is located at 5028 Wisconsin Ave, between the Friendship Heights and Tenleytown Metro stations. Memberships at the 4,400 SF co-working space range from $169 to $429 a month. [TechDC]
