CSRA Mulls Selling Its Falls Church HQ, Leasing It Back

A 275k SF office building next to the Falls Church Marriott Fairview Park may soon be coming onto the market.

CSRA is considering selling its HQ at 3170 Fairview Park Drive and leasing back space in the building, the Washington Business Journal reports.

The move would give the government technology services firm more flexibility as it looks to consolidate its office space across the region. CSRA has about 30 facilities, most of them leased, and roughly 5,500 employees in the region.

The suburban office park, which consists of roughly a dozen office buildings surrounding the Marriott, is one Fairfax County officials and developers have identified as struggling to keep up as tenants move to new transit-oriented highly amenitized space. To keep the office park viable, developers recommended that landlords collaborate to create common amenities like food courts and fitness centers.
