36-Unit, By-Right Development Coming To K Street SE

Developer Pecar Properties has plans for a 36-unit, by-right project on Capitol Hill.

The site is at 1341-1349 K St SE, which is home to the Mount Paran Baptist Church and three row houses. Both the church and row houses will be razed for the planned development, Urban Turf reports.

Pecar expects to complete the project in late 2017, but is still deciding whether it will consist of condos or rentals. As a by-right development, Pecar will not need the go-ahead from the BZA.

This is the latest residential project planned for this section of Capitol Hill. Back in September, Insight Property Group entered the early planning stages for a four-story project with up to 160 units just a few blocks away on the 1300 block of E Street SE[UT]
