Tysons Development Spreads with New Kettler Groundbreaking

Placeholder

Some of the tallest residential buildings in the region are under development, or recently opened, in Tysons right around the four new Silver Line Metro stops, but the development is starting to spread out a little farther.

Kettler, which developed the Vita at Tysons Corner with Macerich and is building The Boro with the Meridian Group, broke ground on the Highgate at Metropolitan Mile luxury apartments this week. The 395-unit, five- to seven-story project is a partnership with PS Business Parks, which owns the land on which the project sits. Approved last December, Highgate is at 7915 Jones Branch Dr, about a half-mile to two Metro stops.

“Highgate will provide these new residents with luxury living, exquisite amenities and plenty of personal space in a vibrant urban setting," Kettler CEO Bob Kettler says. The apartments are expected to deliver in 2017. There will be studios, and one- and two-bedroom units, with a couple of two-story lofts on the ground floor and 2,500 SF of retail. Don't miss Kettler VP Asheel Shah discuss this project tomorrow at NoVa State of the Market.
