16 Things You Need to Know This Morning
Skyline Lost Vornado $165M In Q1
Vornado Realty Trust, in announcing its Q1 earnings yesterday, reported a $114M net loss. It lost $165M on impairment costs from its Skyline office property in Fairfax County, which it is trying to sell. Those impairment costs—which come when a REIT has to downgrade the value of a property it owns—contributed to a $199M swing after earning $85M in Q1 last year.
